The Indian Historical Review (IHR) / Itihas
 The
Council publishes two biannual journals titled The Indian Historical
Review and Itihas. As many as 28 volumesof IHR and
three volumes of Itihas have come out so far.
During the period under review, three double issue of the Indian
Historical Review has been published.
- The
Indian Historical Review, Vol. XXIX, Nos. 1 & 2 (January-July
2002) edited by Indira B. Gupta contains nine articles, two
review articles and thirty book reviews.
- The
Indian Historical Review, Vol. XXX, Nos. 1 & 2 (January-July
2002) edited by Anup Taneja contains six articles, four review
articles and twenty three book reviews.
- The
Indian Historical Review, Vol. XXXI, Nos. 1 & 2 (January-July
2002) edited by Anup Taneja contains seven articles and twenty
two book reviews.
 Publication
of Itihas was revived. Itihas Vol. I (new series) was published
under the editorship of Dr. P. K. Shukla.
The
forhtcoming issue of the Indian Historical Review, Volume XXXII
No. 1 edited by Bindeshwar Ram, focusing on the Indian and Graeco
- Roman World in ancient times will be out shortly. The secong
volume of Itihas is also expected to be out shortly.
